The Hotel Show, the Middle East’s leading supplies exhibition targeted at the region’s hospitality and leisure sectors, has confirmed the participation of a number of leading UK suppliers, looking to make their presence felt or consolidate their existing market share.

British companies, such as myfotowall.com, Burgess Furniture, No 9 Studio and A Ronai, have all confirmed their attendance in anticipation of another record-breaking show, says a spokesperson for the organiser.
Organised by dmg world media Dubai, the Hotel Show will take place from June 4 to 6, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
“We have experienced steady growth from the UK and recent developments such as the Whitbread-Emirates tie-up to build three new hotels within the next two years will encourage greater participation,” says Maggie Moore, exhibition director, The Hotel Show.
This year’s contingent includes debutant myfotowall.com, an on-line application which enables interior designers and specifiers to create a stunning wallscape or focal point fitting an entire wall. The bespoke wallcovering ordered through myfotowall.com comes in 500-mm-wide wallpaper strips for ease of installation. It is wipeable and light fast internally for five years.
“This is the first time we have exhibited at The Hotel Show and we are extremely excited, the sheer size and scale of the Middle East market is phenomenal,” says sales director Teresa Haigh. “We have over 700 different images to choose from or you can use your own 300 dpi image. Myfotowall is able to resample a digital photograph up to 1,600 per cent without any discernable loss in quality.”
“We firmly believe that our product is ideal for such a dynamic and demanding market,” she added.
A Ronai (Eastern) – a supplier of uniforms and equipment for the hotel and catering industry, which exports predominantly to the Middle East and also the exclusive Middle East distributors for the award-winning Simon Jersey brand, the international corporate clothing specialist – will also be present at the show.
Burgess Furniture is the UK’s leading manufacturer and supplier of a range of banqueting chairs and tables, conference furniture and accessories. During this year’s show, Burgess will introduce two new chair ranges in the Middle East. Originally launched in London last February, the PIO and Flair ranges are both designed for use in all aspects of conference and banqueting, says the spokesperson.
Another British exhibitor of note is No 9 Studio UK, which produces highly original architectural ceramics for everything from English stately homes to Japanese curling stadiums.
