The Land – a Middle East-based property development company operating across the region - has recently awarded the construction contract for its first three towers in the Porto Arabia harbour district in The Pearl-Qatar project to Saudi Arabia-based Al Arrab Contracting Company.
The project, to build seven residential towers at Porto Arabia, the main marina of The Pearl-Qatar, is already under way with piling almost finished on the first tower and construction on the first phase also underway.
The Land is investing over QR2 billion ($549.42 million) for its first development in the country, that will be one of the largest in the Porto Arabia district, which will be an up-scale, multi-cultural residential community in an Mediterranean style exclusive island retreat.
The project is unique in that all three towers will be built on one podium, leading to significant economies of scale and the ability to offer bigger and better facilities. The total plot area for all three towers is 19,692 sq m, including 6,115 sq m for recreational activity.
