
Beirut: Habtoorland in Lebanon, an $80 million project developed by the UAE-based Al Habtoor Group, has put all its expansion plans on hold, Elie Tohme, park manager said.
Tohme said unexpectedly low visitor traffic due to the country’s economic crisis in the wake of the assassination of Lebanon’s former prime minister Rafik Hariri just a few months after the park’s opening last December is responsible for the delay, said a report.
