With industries, homes and establishments alike giving more importance to security issues, Saudi Arabia-based Guardian Industries is looking forward to maintaining its position as a leading player in the manufacture of hi-tech security products and solutions.

Established in 1972, through a partnership between the Al Zamil and Kanoo groups, Guardian has over the years been a major player in the hi-tech security market.
Guardian deals in a range of products that include: barbed wires and metallic barriers among others, which are manufactured using 100 per cent local raw materials.
The systems offered by the company ensures effective and reliable protection, can be easily manned, and can adapt to all security and civil facilities, in addition to ensuring a maximum security for states, individuals and companies, says a spokesman for Guardian Industries.
Referring to the quality standards maintained by the company, he says: “The ISO 9001 certification received by the company is an indicator of Guardian’s keen eye for quality. Our high quality standards, which come at affordable prices, have ensured that Guardian has a list of ong-standing customers, not just in the kingdom, but also in the entire Arab world.
“Apart from the Saudi and the GCC markets, we have started exporting our high-quality products to Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Africa, and have plans to further expand,” he says.
On the growth achieved by the company over the years, he says: “The company has achieved year on year success thanks to an entrepreneurial philosophy. Our aim has been to promote Saudi industries and boost its volumes of exports, totally relying on the raw materials abundant in Saudi Arabia.”
Guardian, which participated in the recently-concluded Idex 2005 in Abu Dhabi, says that the exhibition was very productive in that it allowed the company to market its products in the fast-growing markets of the region.
Assessing Guardian participation in Idex 2005, the spokesman says: “We were impressed by the turnout of visitors at our stands. Visitors from markets across the region have been drawn to our stand by Guardian’s range of products as well as the post-sale installation and maintenance services we have to offer.”
