After having recently completed the supply of electrical accessories to the prestigious Emirates Palace Hotel, Wandsworth Group is looking forward to further reinforce its presence in the region.

The leading UK-based group has announced plans to extend its coverage of the Gulf states by appointing a representative to work in conjunction with its appointed agents, says a spokesman.
At the Emirates Palace Hotel, the company was responsible for the supply of its sleek clip-on Series 3 range finished in polished brass and satin desert brass.
Wandsworth, which has been designing and manufacturing hand-finished architectural wiring accessories for over 100 years, offers a fusion of classic and contemporary designs.
In the Middle East, the company has been trading for over 40 years and is one of the first electrical manufacturers to export its range successfully to the area. Among some of the more recent projects are the Burj Al Arab, Metropolitan Hotels, Dubai Courts, the Al Maha Desert Resort and Etisalat Towers. Other projects include the Arraya Centre, Kuwait and the SAS Radisson Hotel, Muscat, apart from several royal palaces and luxury villas.

Wth its in-house design team, the company can offer a bespoke service for a client who is looking for something just a bit different. “Even if you choose one of the standard ranges that Wandsworth manufactures, due to its modular style, switches can be supplied in a different finish to the plate to offer a highly distinctive finishing touch,” says the spokesman.
The ranges include ultra-modern super mirror stainless steel, authentic, handcrafted antique finishes, and the striking textured stainless steel Profile range. All metal plates are made from solid brass, premium-grade stainless steel, or anodised aluminium, and are hand-finished to ensure the highest quality. In addition, the transparent crystal range offers the chance to ‘hide’ the accessories, or be creative with the designs behind the plate. Plates are also available pre-primed, to enable clients to apply their own finish, or in any RAL paint colour, to mix and match with the decor. 
As well as its standard range of finishes, the company can also offer 22.5 carat gold finished plates in both its Series 2 and Decorative Edge ranges. Quartz is another new finish, which looks particularly effective on the Decorative Edge ranges, giving a satin silver spark effect to the plate, says the spokesman.
Wandsworth’s range of high-quality electrical accessories also includes light switches, rotary dimmers, wall sockets, shaver supply units, fused spur units and telecom, TV and data outlets in many elegant finishes.

Rocker switches can be chosen to match or complement the plate finish.
• Profile Series 2: Available in four innovative, textured designs and in stainless steel or polished brass plates, the Profile range of accessories represents an exciting new addition to its popular Classic Series 2 range.
• Classic Series 3: The sophisticated slimline Series 3 range combines all the advantages of grid- and plate-mounted accessories and is available in 15 finishes.
• Decorative Edge range: A choice of Victorian (step), Georgian (rope), Adam (bead) and Regency (bevelled) edges are available in polished brass, super mirror stainless steel and four unique hand-crafted antique finishes on solid brass plates.
• Crystal Series 2: This range of transparent plates is virtually invisible once installed and, as a result, protects wall coverings without being obscured.
• Yellow Etched Prime: Wandsworth offers a range of plates with a yellow-etched primer paint to complement its Crystal Series where low-level accessories are to be installed. It can also be used to match the paintwork of the room it is being installed in.
• Palace range: Designed for use where a more traditional style is required, these light switches are distinguished by their traditional toggle switches and rounded bell pushes and are available in all of the above plate styles and finishes.
