Liebherr is marking its presence on the horizons of the prestigious Dubai Marina Development, by providing lifting duties for two bridges - the longest in-situ post-tensioned concrete bridges in the UAE.

Four Liebherr tower cranes will be performing essential lifting duties throughout construction of the two bridges by main contractor Dutco Construction Company on the fast-track project.
"On each of the two bridges, a Liebherr 180HC and an 88HC tower crane have been installed to perform lifting duties involving the reinforcement, support systems and concrete pours," a Liebherr spokesman says.
The two Liebherr 180 HCs feature a 50 m boom and maximum lifting capacity of 3 tonnes.  Both Liebherr 88 HCs feature a 40 m boom and 2.3-tonne lifting capacity.  Hook heights vary between 30 and 40 m for the bridge project.
All four Liebherr cranes were ordered through local distributor Inma, which completed 30 years of operations in the UAE last year.  Inma says its strong service network for the efficient distribution of spare parts has contributed to its continued strength in the market.
