Projects and Supplies, which specialises in lighting consultation and focuses on providing solutions that integrate lighting into the architecture to create a planned effect, was the exclusive light fitting supplier for phase I of the Dubai Marina project.
'We supplied more than 100 different types of fixtures for the project and provided the optimum solutions for best illumination output and safety measures in accordance with international standards,' says general manager Adel Frangie.
The Dubai-based company provides design solutions for lighting and ceiling systems as well as a supply service to the building industry. 'We aim to establish a working relationship that stresses the value of our involvement from project conception to realisation. Each project is approached not only with our technical knowledge but also with great sensitivity, enthusiasm, and commitment. This process is what identifies the work of Projects and Supplies,' adds Frangie.
Projects and Supplies' ceiling division, Saddimetal, provides integrated solutions for ceiling systems.
All production is processed in its factories in Dubai and Beirut (Lebanon) while its production and design team combines years of experience as well as continuous research to realise more flexible and innovative systems. This has resulted in its quality assurance system being awarded the ISO 9001/2000 certification as a sign of Projects and Supplies' commitment to quality standard.
'Our work in lighting led us to include the use of control systems to allow us greater flexibility in lighting design. Understanding the lighting effect through designing it, we can programme the system to create the exact lighting scenes desired as well as programme the entire control system,' explains Frangie.
Projects and Supplies' work is the result of a strong team in Beirut, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Qatar consisting of lighting consultants, architects, electrical engineers, sales representatives, as well as technical and support staff.
'We believe that a continuous dialogue between us and our clients, throughout the stages of design, supply, execution and supervision is the basis for a successful project,' concludes Frangie.
