Several hundreds of companies from all over the world are expected to attend Saudi Build 2002, the biggest construction exhibition in Saudi Arabia, which will be held in October this year in Riyadh.
SaudiBuild 2002, the 14th International Construction Technology and Building Materials Show will be held from October 13 to 17 at the Riyadh Exhibition Centre.
Running alongside the main event will be Saudi Stone 2002, in its fifth edition.
Riyadh Exhibitions Company (REC), the event's organiser, expects this year's event to be as busy as last year's, which attracted a record number of visitors and over 700 companies from around the world.
"Last year's Saudi Build occupied the entire 20,000 sq m indoor and outdoor space at the exhibition centre," says a spokesman for REC.
Commenting on construction prospects in the run-up to the event, the spokesman says: "The Kingdom's multi-billion-dollar construction market continues to grow, and its infrastructure expansion is offering the building sector over $200 billion of business development opportunities.
''SaudiBuild 2002 is being held at the centre of the largest building market in the Middle East, and it offers suppliers of building technologies and products unique opportunities to expands and develop their business."
SaudiBuild is a UFI (Union Des Foires Internationales) accredited show.
