Courses lined up for engineers

The El Maimani Red Brick Factories is offering several training courses for engineers interested in thermal insulation under an agreement with the King Fahd University for Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) in Dhahran.

The courses have been designed for employees of engineering and consultancy offices, contractors and government sectors and are presented by KFUPM professors with experience in thermal insulation and its theoretical and practical studies.

The third in the series of courses is being held in Madinah this month while another training programme will be held in Jeddah later.

The first course held in Makkah last November was attended by 50 engineers while the second was held at the Yanbu Industrial College in January and attracted 50 engineers from various sectors such as the Royal Commission for Yanbu Projects, Saudi Aramco, Sabic subsidiaries, engineering and consulting offices and contracting companies in the Yanbu Industrial City.

The engineers were nominated by their companies and the costs of the courses are being borne by El Maimani.

The lectures were presented by Prof Dr Abdul Muhsin Al-Hammad, Dr Ismail Bidaiwi, Dr Mohammed Al-Humud and Dr Ali Shash.

Course attendance certificates were given by the university.
