
Saudi Arabian Adhesive Factory (Saaf) is on the expansion path having just been given the go-ahead by the Ministry of Industry to boost its production capacity by 4,000 tonnes per year, says Rashied Mahmoud Rashied, factory manager.
"To support our expansion plans, we have purchased new equipment from Spain which is expected to be delivered in September," he says.
Established in 1975, Saaf is one of the leading manufacturers in Saudi Arabia of adhesives, sealants, paints and coatings and concrete admixtures.
The Riyadh-based company achieved total sales of SR50 million ($13.3 million) last year and its total output of adhesives and paints touched 12,000 tonnes, Rashied adds.
