The UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has opened a new Dh18 million ($4.9 million) regional office in the UAE emirate of Dubai.
Soft lines and aluminium and stainless steel were used to create an aeronautic design for the project. The building incorporates the design of a crescent from the top and a sand dune laterally. Besides offices, it houses a technical library, a conference room and an auditorium. The building has 2,000 sq m of office space.
