A NEW containerised batching plant launched by Saudi-based KiCE Construction Equipment was a major draw at The Big 5 Kuwait 2013, the international showcase of building and construction products held in Kuwait in September (16 to 18).
The plant, manufactured in Al Uyun Hassa area of Saudi Arabia, can produce up to 120 cu m per hour of concrete. The units are of a convenient size, facilitating easy transportation between project sites.
“We’re extremely happy to launch this new batching plant, which is highly flexible, especially for our customers outside Saudi Arabia to whom we ship our products, or for projects that have limited storage space,” said Saleh Al Katheer, CEO of KiCE.
Rashad Kreidie, KiCE’s general sales manager, said the containerised batching plant can be transported to major building sites where larger volumes of high quality concrete have to be supplied for a certain period of time.
“The unit comes with completely pluggable cable connections which helps to save time and installation efforts,” he said.
Kreidie added that KiCE’s successful performance in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf countries was primarily because it has always brought in “the right product at the right time for our customers”.
KiCE also presented a full range of construction equipment during the exhibition including a portfolio of products from various countries such as Korea, UK and China.
