MAJAAL Warehouse Company, Bahrain’s small and medium enterprises (SME)-focused developer and operator of industrial facilities, has signed a key sponsorship agreement with Hilal Conferences and Exhibitions (HCE) to participate in its Gulf Industry Fair 2014 next February (4 to 6).

Under the agreement, Majaal – which had a high profile presence at the 2013 edition of the Northern Gulf’s premier business-to-business industrial exhibition – will be the principal strategic sponsor of the ‘logistics and industrial facilities’ segment of the show to be held at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre (BIECC).

Majaal, a wholly-owned subsidiary of First Bahrain Real Estate Development Company, has enjoyed steady growth since its February 2010 inception, achieving full occupancy of a 12,000-sq-m first phase in late 2011, in addition to completing and fully occupying the 12,000-sq-m second phase at the Bahrain Investment Wharf site in June 2013. Construction on Phase Three, comprising a single 13,000-sq-m clear span warehouse, is currently under way, with completion due in early 2014.

Jubran Abdulrahman, managing director of HCE, said: “Majaal is a true economic success story which has consistently delivered on its promises, and, through Gulf Industry Fair, we are honoured to have helped play a part in this success. It is HCE’s intention to ensure that the fair maintains the quality as a showcase that has so far helped to provide the positive exposure that supports Majaal’s long-term business development objectives.”

Amin Al Arrayed, managing director of Majaal, said: “Successful deals have also been closed as a result of our participation in the GIF 2013. At the 2014 show, we plan to make a significant announcement about an additional phase to the project.”
