Plans for the launch of UAE's first hotel management school have been announced.
The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management is being established by Jumeirah International under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Deecne Minister.
Construction on the academy, which will be located in Jumeirah, is well under way, with phase one due for completion soon.
Operating in academic association with the world-famous Ecole hoteliere de Lausanne, the academy will open in Dubai in August 2001 and will offer third level education in the field of International Hospitality Management.
The academy is open to both national and expatriate students.
