Construction of a new BD10 million ($26.5 million), eight-storey Citibank headquarters complex in the Seef district of Bahrain is on track with projected occupancy slated for next May. Cybarco Bahrain started construction work on the facility nearly a year ago.
The project has Mohammed Salahuddin Consulting Engineering Bureau (MSCEB) as the consulting engineer and Baker Wilkins and Smith as client representative and quantity surveyor.
All the eight storeys are to be occupied by Citibank branches such as the data centre, treasury, telecommunications, information technology, cash management, project finance, operations, human resources and financial control.
The Citi Islamic Investment Bank will rent space in the new building.
