A new building under construction at the Abu Dhabi campus of Zayed University is expected to be opened in time for the new academic year. The extension, which spreads over an area of 9,000 sq m, will comprise 46 classrooms, five seminar rooms, a large library, a VIP lounge, senior administrators offices and two learning centres.
The project is being completed in one year at a cost of Dh37.5 million ($10.2 million). Khatib and Alami is the consultant and Al Hamed Construction Company the contractor.
