QATAR’S Domopan Construction Company has installed state-of-the-art, fully automated machinery at its production facility allowing the company to deliver high-quality, fully insulated and fully recyclable construction materials.

Located at the New Industrial Area in Doha, the factory produces premium-quality floor panels, wall panels, steel components for frame structures, and fibre gypsum boards for internal partitions. Using the latest technology, Domopan has built dedicated production lines for its proprietary Domofloors, DomoWalls, fibreglass-reinforced gypsum boards, as well as columns, beams and wire mesh.

The Domofloor line is fully capable of producing lightweight slabs that guarantee a complete thermal cut and a high acoustical level insulation, in addition to being able to customise the thickness according to the spans and loads.
The line for DomoWall, on the other hand, has been configured to produce traditional reinforced concrete walls with embedded insulation.

The line for gypsum boards reinforced with fibreglass produces internal partition walls that guarantee high sound insulation, load-bearing capacity of up to 60 kg at one point, a two-hour fire rating capacity and a class zero reaction to fire. Moreover, the line can deliver any kind of finishing from painting to ceramic to cladding.

Domopan also offers value-added benefits to its clients by setting up its own production line for columns, beams and wire mesh, which eliminates steel fixing activity on site. This greatly reduces the time of erection and the labour cost needed for such tasks, it says.
