KUWAIT’S ETA Engineering and Elevator Company has won an order to supply and install two Mitsubishi spiral escalators at the Amiri Flight Terminal near Kuwait International Airport.
“Mitsubishi is the only manufacturer of spiral escalators, 100 of which have been installed worldwide,” says general manager Hemanth Kumar, adding that the two curved escalators at the terminal will be the first of their kind in Kuwait. ETA Engineering and Elevator Company is part of ETA Melco, a joint venture between Emirates Trading Agency of Dubai and Mitsubishi Electric Corporation of Japan.
