Abu Dhabi’s Raha Beach Development will complete dredging and reclamation activities on the eastern 4 km of the project this month, some three months ahead of schedule.

The remaining land sourced filling will be completed within a month of this at which point the entire eastern half of the site will be completely filled.
Al Raha Beach director, Michael Cox stated that “the land formed can now be progressively constructed on several precincts such as Al Zeina, Al Bandar and Al Wateed, which will be managed by the Aldar/Laing O’Rourke Joint Venture Company.”
The Dh54 billion ($14.7 billion) development designed to accommodate a population of 120,000 in some of the most spectacular buildings, marinas and water features seen in the UAE will start to come up soon, said Mohamed Al Mubarak, strategy, infrastructure and planning manager.
