The main contract for GoldCrest Executive was finalised with Ascon-Al Aweer joint venture for Dh220 million ($59.89 million). The pile foundation work is complete and the super-structure work commenced in April with the completion date set for June 2008.
“The award of contracts paves the way for timely commencement of construction on the superstructure for GoldCrest Executive and GoldCrest Views-2, which will be two landmark projects at the Jumeirah Lake Towers,” says ETA executive director Abid A. Junaid. “ETA Star’s properties are defined by their uncompromising construction quality and structural integrity, and awarding the main packages to reputed contractors like Al Meraikhi and Ascon-Al Aweer will ensure that the projects are built on time and to the best of standards.”
