Big 5

Maiden appearance

G Neokleous has carried out numerous wrought iron and interior decor projects.

Cyprus-based G Neokleous – a manufacturer of wrought iron and stainless steel stairways, gates and interior ironworks – is all geared up to present its range of products when it makes its debut at this year’s Big 5 show.

The company, which will be participating for the first time outside Cyprus, already has notched up an impressive turnover of $1 million and is confident of ushering in a phase of greater growth by entering the rapidly expanding Middle East market.
“We have been planning to participate at some of the major exhibitions in the region for a couple of years now, and it is only this year that we finally decided on breaking the long wait by heading for the Middle East’s largest construction exhibition,” says managing director George Neokleous.
“We have been in the business of manufacture and installation of wrought iron and stainless steel architectural hardware in Cyprus and we plan to start up similar services in the Middle East in the near future,” he adds.
Most of the company’s products clearly reflect the classical and neo-classical designs of Greece and Italy and Neokleous plans to add other designs to its range in the coming months.
“We can manufacture, deliver and install customised hardware solutions within short delivery times. Our production capacities and an efficient management system enable us to deliver on time and within budgets,: says Rene Neokleous partner of the firm.
Established in 1993, the company started off as a small enterprise with a handful of people. Today, after a series of expansions and finally moving into the Athienou Industrial Area of Cyprus, the company employs 17 trained and experienced craftsmen at its 1,000 sq m facility and has set up three showrooms across southern Cyprus.
“Since the beginning, the objective of our company has been to emphasise on quality products, reduce delivery times and offer products at competitive prices so as to increase or market share,” says Neokleous. “We have been focusing on procuring quality raw materials that includes high-quality wrought iron and steel to enable us to successful with achieving our objectives. We have been strictly adhering to the thumb rule of wrought iron – which is to procure the best raw material for the manufacture of our products.
“This policy has helped us develop on our clientele and we have successfully completed quite a few projects in terms of hotels, apartment complexes and residential villas in Cyprus.”
“In the coming months, we plan to introduce new product lines including metal furniture,” he adds.
