Genavco launched the Isuzu Motors’ range of passenger, SUV (sports utility vehicles) and commercial vehicles on the UAE market in 1980.
Building on Isuzu’s worldwide reputation for reliability, unparalleled quality and superior performance, Genavco set upon establishing Isuzu as “the perfect partner” for every application in the UAE.
This move has helped Genavco to reach new heights and today “Genavco is one of the top two trucks suppliers in the UAE,” says Ossama Akkache, assistant general manager.
Genavco’s Isuzu business represents a large portion of its total business and the increase in unit sales exceeded 52 per cent in 2003 compared to the previous year.
Isuzu, founded in 1910 in Japan, is one of the world’s premier manufacturers of SUVs and trucks, including the renowned Loadmaster – the NPR, he says.
