The BD11.8 million ($31.29 million) 25-storey National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) Tower, Bahrain's tallest building, is expected to be completed by June this year, two years behind schedule. Several contractors have been appointed to complete the NBB Tower, after the termination of services of the project's main contractor, Jalal Costain, said NBB managing director Hassan Ali Juma.

A court case initiated by Jalal Costain against the bank is pending in Bahrain courts, Juma said.

The services of the main contractor for the NBB Tower, Jalal Costain, were terminated in October last year because the bank felt the contractor was not progressing on the work as scheduled, he said.
