Khajah ... focus on customer satisfaction.

Touch of Arts Trading Establishment, a recently-established supplier of ceramics and porcelain tiles for walls and floors, aims to provide a touch of elegance to interiors and exteriors with products from leading manufacturers in Italy, Spain and Turkey.

'Selecting excellent quality products is our prime objective," says Khalil Amin Al Khajah, managing director of the Bahrain-based firm.

'We are very selective of the products we import and we make the effort of attending international exhibitions to choose the material we require for our projects. We treat each tile as a work of art and therefore are meticulous in the selection of design and colours" he says.

The company, whose main activity is supply of tiles, offers an in-house design service and is also looking at providing installation services shortly. 'We also provide our own designs for tiles to our principals for specific projects," he says.

Touch of Arts specialises in tiles with an antique finish. 'However, our aim is to provide what the client wants,' Khajah quickly points out.

Khajah focuses on customer satisfaction, well aware that 'a word of appreciation from satisfied customers' is key to the success of his firm.

Touch of Arts has supplied ceramic tiles for the swimming pools and water-based rides at the Aqua Park, part of the upcoming Durrat Al Bahrain resort.

Khajah expects to clinch further orders for other phases of Durrat Al Bahrain, confident that his company can offer good quality products at the right price.

Commenting on the project, he says: "Durrat Al Bahrain will go a long way in boosting tourism in Bahrain. While attracting visitors to the country, it will also offer leisure facilities to residents of Bahrain.'

Over the past three years since its inception, the company has carried out projects for a number of private villas in Bahrain.

The company has a vast stockyard in Maameer, which holds a large stock of the various tiles it offers.

Despite being relatively new in the market, Touch of Arts already has plans to expand its portfolio and is looking at offering special mosaic tiles.

Khajah anticipates good business in Bahrain over the near future. 'Bahrain is developing very well under the leadership of the King, Shaikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. A number of resort projects are under way which is very good news for our line of business," he says.

Touch of Arts offers products from NovaBell, one of the pioneers in the manufacture of ceramic and porcelain tiles in Italy.

'NovaBell's products are of top quality and are produced using the finest raw materials and sophisticated machinery under the strictest quality-controlled manufacturing facilities," he says. 'NovaBell's products are competitive in terms of both quality and price.'

Touch of Arts also represents Cerdomus from Italy, which specialises in rustic and antique-style tiles.

Other principals represented by the Bahrain firm include Lafaenza of Italy, N&C Halabi and L'Alcalaten of Spain and Graniser of Turkey.
