Saudi Arabia-based paints manufacturer Sigma Paints has recently launched its latest development in computer software – the Sigma Colour Wizard – which it claims will help users to create the colours of their choice on screen.
The software was introduced recently to architects, consultants, engineers and large contractors via a number of seminars in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Syria, and Lebanon.
“Launches in the remaining GCC and Middle East countries will follow soon,” says a company spokesman.
“This user-friendly, colour-visualiser software has a number of advantages compared to popular design programs such as AutoCAD, Corel Draw and many others,” he says. “The most significant is its ability to import images of the building into the program and allow users to manipulate colour schemes directly on it. This allows the user to visualise the effect of their colour choices on their projects.
“All that the user will have to do is to simply take a digital shot of the structure or scan a regular print and watch Sigma Colour Wizard work its colourful magic instantly on screen,” he says.
“The second advantage is that while most of the available colour-matching programs use the RGB colour system – making it almost impossible to match choices with real paint colours – Sigma’s new software allows users to choose the real paint colours from the colour range of Sigma as well as from the world-renowned NCS and RAL colour systems. This eliminates the hassle of matching screen colours with paint colour cards,” he adds.
Sigma invites its customers to any of its branches or retailers to witness first-hand the benefits of the Sigma Wizard.
