The MK28L combines high-capacity concrete mixer with a powerful pumping and placing boom.

Al Marwan Machinery, which has recently introduced the CIFA MK28L mixer pump truck to the region, has already delivered the first unit to a client in Dubai.

This machine marks a new benchmark in technology, productivity, and reliability for concrete work, especially in demanding environments, making it one of the most versatile concrete mixer pump trucks available in the region, says Al Marwan, the official distributor for all CIFA concrete equipment in Dubai, Northern Emirates and Oman.

Built in Italy by CIFA, a renowned manufacturer of concrete pump trucks and mixer technologies, the MK28L concrete truck offers an efficient two-in-one solution that combines the performance of a high-capacity mixer with the convenience of an integrated pumping and placing boom.

This innovative design minimises equipment movement, shortens cycle times, and enhances operational flexibility, making it well-suited for complex construction sites and urban projects where space and efficiency are critical, says Al Marwan Machinery.

The MK28L features a nominal drum capacity of 9 cu m and a placing boom capable of reaching 28.1 m vertically and 24.1 m horizontally. Depending on the chosen configuration, the unit can be fitted with pumping options ranging from PB607S7 to PB808S7, achieving delivery rates of up to 81 cu m per hour with a maximum concrete pressure of 81 bar. The standard pipeline diameter is 100 mm, though larger variants can be specified to meet project requirements. Additional integrated features include an 800-litre water tank and a drum rotation speed of 14 revolutions per minute, ensuring consistent mixing performance.

Stability and safety are ensured through fully hydraulic outriggers, which can be controlled from either side of the vehicle. The front outriggers feature a telescopic double extension design, while the rear ones are fixed, providing reliable support even on challenging terrain.

The MK28L’s technical specifications deliver tangible on-site advantages. Its advanced 7-inch S-valve design ensures smoother pumping operations by improving concrete suction and filling efficiency, which reduces interruptions and wear on key components. With high output and substantial pressure capacity, the unit can deliver concrete effectively even at elevated heights or in difficult-to-access areas.

Built with CIFA’s hallmark Italian engineering, the MK28L features a wear-resistant steel drum, such as 30MnB5 grade, alongside optimised load distribution, precise boom control, and anti-wear pipeline inserts. Stability and safety are reinforced through CIFA’s Light Stability Control (LSC) system, allowing consistent performance even when outriggers are only partially deployed.

According to Al Marwan Machinery, the “Italian made” distinction reflects several core strengths: CIFA’s long heritage and engineering excellence underpin every MK28L. Decades of experience in concrete pump and mixer technology combine tradition with innovation, ensuring components are rigorously tested for durability, stress resistance, boom precision, and user-friendly operation. Material quality is another hallmark: high-grade steels, tight manufacturing tolerances, and wear-resistant alloys all contribute to longevity and reliability.

Italian craftsmanship also shines in design and functionality, says Al Marwan Machinery. From boom folding systems and hydraulics to remote controls and maintenance access, every detail is refined for efficiency and ease of use.

Citing some of the applications for the MK28L, Al Marwan Machinery says the mixer pump truck is ideal for:

• High-rise concrete pumping (where delivered concrete must be lifted vertically over large heights);

• Infrastructure works: bridges, elevated highways, flyovers, where reach and pressure matter;

• Remote or constrained job sites, where having mixing and pumping in one unit reduces transport and set-up complexity; and

• Projects requiring high throughput and tight deadlines (for example, large residential or commercial developments).

In a region characterised by large-scale infrastructure, high-rise buildings, and projects in remote or challenging terrain (heat, sand, long haul distances), the MK28L offers greater reach, higher throughput, and reduced downtime, the company concludes.
