ALTHOUGH just five months into production, Alabniah Precast Concrete Building Factory has already secured a number of high-profile projects and is poised to expand its reach in the kingdom with the opening of a new branch office in Riyadh next month.
The company says it has received strong customer feedback about its precast elements, recognising its high quality finishes and successful on-time delivery.
Alabniah supplies all kinds of precast concrete products as well as intelligent precast solutions and concepts not only to the entire Saudi construction industry but to other GCC countries as well. It also claims to be the first company in the country and amongst the few in the GCC to produce double walls using the latest of global technology.
“Our manufacturing facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art, fully-automated production machinery with computerised plotter, shuttering-robots, fully-automatic mesh welding machines, extruders, computerised concrete distributor and curing chambers,” says Ahmad El Lakkis, executive vice-president of Alabniah.
The company also has a fully-equipped technical department with state-of-the-art design/modelling/structural design software, such as CAD/Tekla/StaadPro, apart from the ERP (enterprise resource planning), CRM (customer relationship management) and production planning and delivery software. Within the first five months of operation, the company has booked orders worth more than SR100 million ($26.67 million), according to El Lakkis. These include three projects for the Royal Commission of Jubail and Yanbu: involving supply and erection of 38,000 sq m of precast boundary walls and columns for a project in Jubail, 14,434 sq m of hollowcore slabs for 45 villas, and 8,383 sq m of solid walls, 14,672 sq m of insulated panels and 13,968 sq m of hollowcore slabs for a 34 villas, all under a subcontract from Redico.
