Jotun Paints last month reached a milestone with the launch of its 1,000th Multicolour Centre (MC) in the Middle East.
The new centre is located in Al Qusais in Dubai, and Jotun, one of the world’s leading producers and suppliers of paints and coatings, has also announced that it is looking at doubling its number of MCs in four years, with the aim of increasing its retail market share, which currently stands at 40 per cent of the regional market.
Among the most popular features of the MCs is the ‘Colour Bar’, which contains more than 950 colour samples, as well as expert shop personnel who educate visitors on different paint techniques and textures, and suggest hues for exterior and internal paints.
The ‘ColourAdvisor’ is also a popular aspect of the MC as it allows customers to choose from a colour palette and see the colour in different environments, furniture settings and lighting conditions.
“As we mark this year with this tremendous milestone, our goal is to continue creating bigger successes not only in terms of sales and production capacity but by consistently maintaining our service levels,” says Ashish Vasudev, trade manager, Mena (Middle East and North Africa) region, Jotun UAE. “We take pride in serving our customers with the highest standards possible, and by opening up our newest Multicolour Centre, we are providing customers greater access to our services.”
