Germany-based BASF, a leading chemical company, will be showcasing its decorative and performance floors by Master Builders Solutions at the upcoming Middle East Covering Exhibition in Dubai, UAE.
A regional event for the interior surface industry, the exhibition will be held from May 22 to 25 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. It has been designed to ensure interior designers, architects and consultants keep ahead of the trends and discover the newest designs, products and solutions in the market.
BASF said it will be making its debut at the event with its latest flooring innovations, as well as its well-established products.
The international company with a presence in the Gulf for almost 40 years, will launch MasterTop DAP poster floors, which allow for any desired image to be achieved with a clear coat, it said.
Other technologies at the stand will include the MasterTop 1300 series, polyurethane, seamless floors that provide not only colour and design options, but also comfort and durability and are calculated to have a significantly lower ecological impact over their design life and thus can be a key component of any green building project, it added.
Additionally, the company will display MasterTop DTZ, a seamless terrazzo system that combines pigmented epoxy resin with synthetic and natural aggregates to produce a durable, yet highly decorative, flooring system.
BASF will also unveil Ucrete, the world’s toughest floor, which meets the high-performance demands in challenging areas such as food processing and industrial facilities.
Shane Arbuckle, sales manager for UAE segment, said: "Our company has continuously been developing flooring technologies to meet performance and decorative needs, and we believe that Middle East Covering is the right platform to present our wide portfolio.”
“Our MasterTop solutions systems are designed to match the specific needs of each customer, application and sector, where speed of application and fast return to service are essential,” he stated.
“This functional profile is complemented by the fact that many of our products are solvent free, have low emissions and feature a high proportion of renewable raw materials,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
