I nstallux, a leading French manufacturer of high-quality aluminium products for buildings and the interior design market, is poised to herald a new era in its growth and expansion with the launch of a major programme to transform its entire product range within the next two years.

“The next two years will see a series of new product launches as Installux updates all its product categories – from curtain-walls to sky lights and from casement to sliding windows and doors,” says Basim Al Saie, managing director of Bahrain-based Installux Gulf, the regional office of the aluminium systems manufacturer.
In addition, several new products offering enhanced performance, aesthetics and functionality, will also be introduced, he says. The company is currently on a mission to ensure that Installux systems are capable of meeting the most stringent standards and performance ratings in every product category.
“Two of our products – a curtain-wall and a casement window system – will be launched at Equipe Baie 2006 exhibition in Paris to be held next month (November 14 to 17),” he announces.
“The new curtain-wall will be an evolution of the existing and highly successful Decoface 54 curtain-wall,” Al Saie says. “In the new version, we have tried to further enhance the product, using the feedback we have received from our customers and the experience gained from using this product on millions sq m of facades.  In time, this new curtain-wall will replace five different curtain-walling systems and enable the installation of many different types of facades.”
The second product to be launched at the event will be a new casement window system. This system will replace the existing 50-mm-wide Espace 50 series with a new 72-mm-wide range that will offer substantially better thermal insulation in accordance with the latest EN European norms, he says.
“The new casement series will be offered in a variety of new decorative designs.  Another feature of this product is the concealed drainage, which will allow the product to have a clean seamless appearance from the outside with no visible drainage holes and covers,” he explains.
Al Saie continues: “Creating a sense of harmony in aesthetics and design in building construction is very important, with the array of different building components installed next to each other. For example, a curtain-wall with an openable panel may be placed next to a casement window near a door leading to a balcony – here, all the accessories such as handles and the shape of the profiles should be similar.  This means that eventually the entire Installux series such as the sliding and door series will be brought in line with these new products that are being introduced. In addition to the feedback from our customers, the problems that architect face have been taken into consideration in the development of these new systems.”
Installux is currently working on the development of a new unitised curtain-wall system that will be modular and have a wide range of façade designs and enhanced flexibility, so that it can be easily adapted to different types of facades without compromising the system or its simplicity.”
Since its inception a decade ago, Installux Gulf has experienced steady growth, while gaining a strong reputation for being focused on providing the best possible service, technical back-up, latest-generation products and support to its clients. Working closely with an independent network of approved fabricators, the company has been able to secure many references that stand as a testimony to its ability and quality.
Installux’s approach to quality and maintaining a very high standard of service, technical back-up and support is central to all its business activities. “The quality of its final product is the result of tight control maintained over manufacture of components, workmanship, fabrication and installation. As one of the leading companies in its field, Installux continues to focus on its goals of providing excellent service and support to its clients and expanding in existing and new markets based on the brand recognition and the strong references it has built,” Al Saie concludes.
