Dubai's Executive Council has mandated Emaar Properties to develop a housing project for UAE nationals in Dubai as part of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Programme.

Amlak Finance has also been mandated to provide the finance to those nationals interested in participating in the programme.
The new Dh10 billion ($2.7 billion) project will include the development of 10,000 modern housing units in different parts of Dubai.
Dubai Municipality and the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) have been instructed to begin work on the project.
