In line with its policy of assuring total customer satisfaction, Japanese heavy equipment manufacturer TCM has revamped its recently-launched TCM forklift truck “FD-G” series with several advanced and cutting-edge functions that will serve well in the most challenging working conditions.
Notable features of the upgraded machines include automatic two-speed transmission, industry top-ranked manoeuvrability, six-cylinder engine with lower vibration, multi-function switch lever and safer driver seat, all of which, substantially contribute to quick mobility, increasing comfort and safety as well. In addition, the newer models feature several enhancements such as an aluminum radiator and torque converter with high quality fins that allows better cooling (18 per cent), improves vehicle durability and also total operational performance.
“The trucks of the FD-G series offer outstanding lifting speeds, which significantly enhances work efficiency,” says a TCM spokesam”t“hT eDF53a dn§,f roe axpmelë&cihvese5 04m ž|n fol fiitgns ”.¶dw ti holda ,#ûwle lsa5 05m ž|n fol worenig speed without load. These remarkable performances largely improve efficiency of cargo handling.”
“Powerful acceleration and quick start-up also contribute to increasing operational efficiency. The torque converter truck model is equipped with an automatic transmission for shifting the first and the second gears. In addition, the smoother start-up and acceleration by two-speed transmission, does away with the changing gear operation contributing to enhanced operational efficiency and remarkable performance at various work sites,” he adds.
“By simply flicking between the best suitable travel modes in torque converter models, operators can change between three travel modes. One soft touch on the switch is able to easily select optimum traction at travel. For cargo handling, you may select either H or M-mode may be selected while the L-mode is suitable for climbing slopes,” adds Abdullah S Al Ali, general manager of Aljomaih Equipment Company, the distributor of TCM in Saudi Arabia.
Aljomaih also represents Iveco, Case New Holland and Nardi of Italy, Claas and MTU of Germany, Tacom of Japan, Nokka-Tume of Finland, Perkins of the UK, Merlo of Italy, and Arcusin of Spain.
