Following its recent expansion in Bahrain, with a big showroom in Sitra, Saudi-based paints manufacturer Raghadan has unveiled ambitious plans for expansion in the region this year.
The Sitra showroom, which was inaugurated by the Minister of Commerce Ali Al-Saleh, is now serving the needs of Bahraini customers by providing quality paints, says sales and marketing director Dr Hisham Ali.
This year, Raghadan plans to expand its markets in Qatar with the setting up of an office on Doha’s Salwa Road, which will considered a strategic location for suppliers of paints, décor and furniture. The interior work on the showroom is almost complete and the premises will be open soon, he says.
Raghadan is also seeking strategic locations to set up showrooms in the UAE (Dubai) and Syria (Damascus).
Raghadan has been successfully operating in the paints business since 1974. Its scope of activities covers the manufacture, import, export, supply and application of paints. The company has established a strong presence in Saudi Arabia and elsewhere in the Gulf and the Arab world.
Dr Ali: “We offer professional services and have the ability, strength and determination to continue to meet the company’s goals and mission of serving its customers better.
“Through dedication, hard work and a positive outlook, Raghadan has steadily grown to become a leading and prominent member in the highly competitive world of paint manufacturing, and has a multinational workforce of more than 1,000.”
Besides its manufacturing facilities, Raghadan is also a leading importer of paints from various well-known suppliers such as Kansai Paint from Japan, Akzo Nobel (Levis) from Belgium and Colorificio San Marco and Vernici Milesi from Italy.
Raghadan is also an official paint supplier and contractor for the Royal family of Saudi Arabia and has worked in collaboration with top contractors in the region. The company has one of the largest distribution networks in the Arab world. In Saudi Arabia alone, Raghadan has 10 major branches located in key cities and 100 distributors, all stocked with its complete product range.
The company’s profile abroad is equally impressive. In Jordan, Raghadan has a main showroom in Amman and 20 distributors, while in Egypt it has a paint factory and showroom in Cairo backed by 50 distributors throughout the country. Raghadan also has a regional office located in London.
“Raghadan believes in providing the right package to its customers by combining better quality paints and better services at cheaper prices,” Dr Ali adds.
