Danube Building Materials has announced its regional expansion into Bahrain with an investment of $8.16 million.
The move comes as demand for construction materials is expected to soar to $9.2 billion this year in the Northern Gulf region, which includes Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait. The UAE-based company, a leading player in the construction, interior decoration, and shop-fitting industry, will leverage its comprehensive product portfolio to cater to the demand for high-quality and specialised construction materials in the region.
Danube’s state-of-the-art facility, built on a 250,000 sq ft plot in the industrial area of Salmabad, will host the company’s industry-leading products including hardwood, exotic veneer, laminates, aluminium, glass, and the latest fire-rated solutions. Hardware and sanitary products from leading international manufacturers will occupy a significant portion in the facility.
