
OMAN’S Tender Board is to award tenders worth RO60.3 million ($156 million) for several major infrastructure projects in the shipping, housing and telecommunications sector, the Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.
These include a $119.6-million contract for construction of the second phase of Sinaw-Mahut-A’Duqm Road, a $22.15-million contract for works and infrastructure requirements at Harmoul Marina at Sohar Industrial Port, and a $1.27-million consultancy contract for the construction of 500 houses with internal roads and lighting in the wilayat of A’Suwaiq in the governorate of North Al Batinah.
