PERI will be showcasing a wide range of new and established products for formwork, scaffolding and engineering over an area of 4,200 sq m at bauma.

The formwork specialist will also be using bauma as an international platform to present its project-related services to customers and interested visitors. These include various technical, commercial and logistical services, such as the creation of verifiable static calculations or 3D design of complex formwork and scaffolding solutions.

“Customers in Germany have been enjoying tools of this kind since February 2012 via the myPeri online portal, which will be presented in detail to the international public for the first time at the bauma 2013,” says a spokesman for the company.

The online portal enables Peri customers to access extensive technical information and specific project data for their Peri construction sites around the clock.

Among the formwork solutions that will be promoted at the show is Maximo, an innovative wall formwork system that is faster, more efficient and produces a better concrete finish, thanks to the neat joint and tie arrangement, he explains.
Its removable sealings and the Maximo MX 18 ties can not only to be used as spares in the event of damage, but also to withstand higher loads. The Maximo system withstands a higher fresh concrete pressure and can be used for wall thicknesses up to 60 cm.

Lightweight wall formwork systems such as Liwa, which can also be used without a crane, will also be on show at bauma.

Peri will also be presenting new products and systems for falsework applications, resulting in higher loads and expanded possibilities both for individual post shores and systems, such as the PEP Ergo steel tubing.

Also to be showcased are new types of climbing brackets, which have already been put to use successfully on the expansion of the Panama Canal. The stable SCS brackets are used to support the high loads from the fresh concrete pressure for single-face applications without formwork ties. They are typically used for dams, sluices, cooling towers, bunkers, buttress heads and tunnels.

For bridge construction, Peri will promote the Variokit engineering construction kit, which has already been providing cost-effective and flexible solutions for superstructures for a number of years. The engineering construction kit can now also be used for the balanced cantilever method with a few additional, newly-developed system components.

Peri UP scaffolding systems have been offering solutions not only for shoring for many years but for a wide variety of applications: working scaffolding for façades, construction sites and industry, as well as access ways for diverse applications and safety scaffolding. The company is presenting all applications of the Peri UP scaffolding system at bauma 2013. The modular scaffolding Peri UP Rosett Flex will also be in the spotlight.

New components will also be presented at bauma for securing suspended scaffolding on I-beams. Flange couplings for securing scaffolding tubes are now available for Peri UP, as well as a beam clamp for mobile suspended scaffolding.

Peri can be visited at its own temporary hall (Stand 719) in the open-air area North at bauma.
