The 655 HD duty cycle crawler crane ... robust.

AT BAUMA next month, Sennebogen will be presenting a broad range of cranes, duty cycle crawler cranes, and material handling machines that are backed by the German company’s 60-plus years of competence and experience in developing sophisticated machines.

The manufacturer has been an exhibitor at bauma since 1958 and has a stand covering over 2,000 sq m this year.

“As a traditional family-owned enterprise, Sennebogen is active throughout the world as an innovation driver and leading manufacturer of crane technology and material handling machines. The machines are manufactured to the highest quality standards in Germany at sites in Straubing and Wackersdorf, and are sold worldwide through an extensive dealer network,” says a spokesman for the company.

This year, Sennebogen is presenting a variety of new machines for the construction industry and for material handling. With the new E-Series, the company addresses the requirements specified in new exhaust standards. A newly developed port cab offers high levels of operator comfort, and the innovative Sennebogen control system supports the operator and makes machine parameters transparent.

With the launch of new E-Series at the end of 2012, Sennebogen introduced two new material handling machines that satisfy the Tier 3b/4 requirements today.

The 655 HD duty cycle crawler crane ... robust.

“The Sennebogen 830 and 835 of the new E-Series are impressive not only due to the variety of equipment and optimised technology but also because of their low operating costs and optimal environmental compatibility, thanks to the newly developed green efficiency technology,” the spokesman says.

Well-designed engine technology, modern exhaust after-treatment and maximum operating comfort with significantly reduced background noise are just a few of the advantages. The two new machines are just as at home in demanding port transshipment applications as they are in scrap metal recycling.

Other innovations such as an intelligent control system, a new balancer/material handling machine, a 55-tonne duty cycle crawler crane, and a large-area cab demonstrate Sennebogen’s focus on executing a comprehensive development strategy.

Sencon

With the new E-Series, Sennebogen has developed Sencon, an intelligent control system that actively supports the operator and is easy to handle. The control system offers extensive information on machine parameters, is flexible in adapting to different parameters, and convinces with its intelligent networking.

8130 EQ

In January, Sennebogen launched its first balancer/material handling machine with the 8130 EQ. With this machine concept for demanding material handling, Sennebogen breaks new ground in the areas of economy and energy efficiency. Thanks to the well-thought-out balancer concept, the machine is completely balanced in every work position. “Electrically powered, compared with conventional propulsion concepts, the machine saves as much as 75 per cent in operating costs and energy costs – an innovation that on its own makes a visit to the Sennebogen booth well worth your while,” the spokesman says.

655 HD

New in the crane line product range will be a duty cycle crawler crane in the 55-tonne class at bauma. Whether with diaphragm wall grab in special underground engineering or for drag line bucket operation in mining applications, the modular machine concept is impressive through use-friendly technology and robust mechanical systems. Thanks to telescopic crawler travel gear and self-mounting system, the Sennebogen 655 HD can be easily and flexibly transported and offers variable implementation.

Mastercab

The new Sennebogen Mastercab offers a superior feeling of space, optimal overview and the highest level of convenience, the spokesman says. A comfortable seat, emergency seat, and substantial space gains compared to the maXcab Industry, are just some of the advantages offered by the newly developed large-area cab, he adds.

Sennebogen can be visited at Stand F7 – F172 in the open-air exhibition area.
