IN A bid to add a splash of colour to the heart of the home, Kohler has launched four bright colours on select kitchen and bath sinks for customers in the Middle East.
The global leader in the manufacture of kitchen and bath products, in collaboration with world-renowned designer and colour guru Jonathan Adler, has launched four special edition hues on six select enamelled cast iron kitchen and bath sinks. Each piece is crafted in a foundry in the Village of Kohler, Wisconsin, US – where Kohler’s headquarters is located – and comes complete with a lifetime limited warranty ensuring it will stand up beautifully to life’s daily wear and tear.
The partnership is “more than a shared passion for colour that brought these two brands together. Both are deeply committed to impeccable quality and timelessly bold design. That shared vision made this partnership much more than a natural fit – it made it a fun one”, says a company official.
“Heirlooms are an important part of the family heritage and history in this region, passing prized belongings on to children and grandchildren. Kohler, like Jonathan Adler, prides itself on creating heirloom-quality products,” says Mohamed Nada, regional marketing manager for Kohler in the Middle East.
The four Kohler colours featuring Jonathan Adler include Greenwich Green, Piccadilly Yellow, Palermo Blue and Annapolis Navy.

Greenwich Green captures the beauty of the perfectly manicured lawns of an English Estate – cultured and cultivated. “This is not dull avocado green,” says Adler. “It’s bolder, yet timeless. So crisp and refreshing you can taste it.”
Piccadilly Yellow evokes the riot of colours from London’s Piccadilly Circus. Exuberant and fun, a Piccadilly yellow kitchen or bathroom sink instantly fills the space with giddiness. Adler says: “There’s a very mod quality to Piccadilly Yellow, especially when paired with white. It’s unexpected and will always feel fresh.”
“Palermo Blue is beautiful, a serene splash of the Mediterranean Sea where it opens before the city of Palermo on Sicily. A nice, crisp light blue is cool and refreshing, like taking a dip in the Med itself,” says Nada.
“Annapolis Navy, a classic hue, calls to mind the sailing city of Annapolis on Maryland’s Severn River. “Annapolis Navy epitomises nautical chic. It’s such a classic colour because it pairs so well with other bold colours,” he says.

For optimum colour vibrancy, Kohler is offering the four new colours only on six of its enamelled cast iron kitchens and sinks. “The pigments used in the enamelling process are incredibly saturated and vibrant,” Nada explains. “Such an exclamation of colour in a space should be as rich as possible. And Kohler enamelled cast iron allows us to achieve that.”
The four colours are available in limited quantity on Whitehaven, Riverby and Iron/Tones kitchen sinks. The new colours are also available on Kohler Tides, Canvas and DemiLav Wading Pool bath sinks.
