LEADING interior designer Maison Interiors has carved a niche for itself in the residential and commercial market of the region and of Bahrain in particular.
Established in 1994, the company serves its clients in the Middle East through its offices in Bahrain and Qatar. Maison Interiors also has an office in the Philippines.
“Our design philosophy is simple: form, function and technology can work hand in hand to create interiors that please the senses,” says Daaij Bauchale, Bahrain-based managing director of Maison Interiors. “Our team of highly skilled and creative people shares the company’s commitment to excellence.”
“We believe that interior design is not about imposing ideas and tastes on a client but rather it’s a meeting of the minds of the client and the designer to produce with a design tailored to the client’s needs, desires and lifestyle,” he adds.
Maison Interiors’ clients comes from a broad range of backgrounds and include the Gulf Hotel, House of Travel, Durrat Khaleej Al Bahrain, Takaful International and Economic Development Board, to mention a few, he says.
“But wherever they come from or whoever they may be, we analyse and strategise things from their perspective and develop a solution that optimises their space and boosts its value – both functionally and aesthetically.
“Designing for clubs, corporate offices, exhibition centres and museums, high-end residences and villas, hospitality spaces such as hotels and restaurants, palaces, public and private institutions and retail stores is our area of specialty,” he points out.
Maison’s interior design services include strategic consulting, space planning/square footage optimisation, colour analysis, colour-rendered perspectives, theme and concept development, professional project management, construction drawings, custom furnishings, budget development, special paints and artwork services.
In partnership with its sister company, Chateau Furniture, it has broadened its scope to include dedicated furniture, curtains and upholstery services for specific interior needs.
“Our special paints and artworks can create extraordinary faux finishes on any surfaces and embellish any space with custom artwork and murals to enhance interest and add a splash of colour or elegance to an otherwise boring room. In addition, customised wall finishes with colours or textures that match the client’s curtains or upholstery can be an attractive option,” he says.
“While offering comprehensive interior and architectural interior design services for residential and commercial construction, we are committed to work with our clients during every stage of the project, from analysing prospective home-sites to placing the last piece of artwork in their completed home,” Bauchale concludes.
