Weinig
At the show, just-in-time production solutions will be offered to small and large companies alike, from the Powermat 400, for entry-level to high-technology moulders, to the Powermat 2000XL, for high production levels.
“The PowerLock HSK PowerLock tools with PowerCom control, make it possible to reset machines in a matter of minutes and significantly increase the quality of finish,” says as spokesman for the company. “Highlights also include the throughfeed profiling centre, Conturex, and a new window processing centre. A complete window factory comprising the Powermat 500 designed especially for window components, a new Unicontrol 15 and a Unirex 2000 will be featured. The Unirex is a completely new machining centre designed for CNC (computerise numerical control) controlled drilling with integrated cross-cut saws for processing window and door components.”
Weinig Tooling
Weinig Tooling intends to exhibit its complete tool management and measurement systems, including tool grinding on the Rondamat, measurement on the OptiControl and template cutting for in-house manufacture of profile tools.

As a specialist in the high-performance sector in the field of planing, Waco – the Swedish subsidiary of Weinig – will present the Hydromat 5000 as a compact lamella planing device. The machine is equipped with floating vertical spindles. At Ligna, the company will also present the top model Powermat 6000 with PowerLock tools – which can work at speeds up to 1,000 m/minute.
Waco products also include band saws in single and twin design. In this field, the Swedish company will present a band saw BKS with a feed speed of 40 m/minute and a cut height of up to 370 mm.
Raimann & Dimter
Raimann and Dimter will offer machines that ensure wood optimisation and thus profitability.
“It is essential to make the most efficient use of raw material purchased and one way of achieving this is by wood optimisation, which can generally produce more than eight per cent saving in waste,” says the spokesman. “Raimann, an expert in pre-cutting optimisation, will present the SpeedRip 600, a new edition of ProfiRip KM 310M and a large range of options for its FlexiRip. Dimter, a specialist for optimizing cross-cut saws and gluing presses, will showcase its OptiCut S90 Speed, which has new slider equipment for a maximum stroke speed of 260m/min. The machine is also able to identify each part for subsequent processing by labelling.”
Grecon
Grecon, a manufacturer of high-performance finger-jointing lines, will exhibit a complete jointing line from the CombiPact range of vertical and horizontal profiles. “With this universal, fully-automatic system, Grecon fulfils all requirements for the highest quality performance – whether vertical, positive/negative alternating shoulder or half-shoulder,” says the spokesman.
