The D27111 ... guaranteed high precision cuts in both table and mitre cutting modes.

Dewalt, a leading manufacturer of industrial power tools, continues to set new standards in the marketplace with the introduction of the D27111 table-top mitre saw to its already exceptional range of machinery.

The D27111 has been designed to meet the diverse needs of professional users such as carpenters, floor layers, fitters and roofers. It focuses on five key areas; accuracy, power, capacity, durability and ease-of-use, therefore resulting in a saw that exceeds user expectations, says a Dewalt spokesman.
“The D27111 305 mm slide table top mitre saw is extremely versatile and ideal for a wide range of crosscut and ripping applications, such as roofing and decking,” says Suresh Srinivasan, product manager, Middle East and Africa, Dewalt Industrial Tools.  “This saw meets the needs of most second fix applications, giving the user the perfect solution for every application.”
He continues: “Accuracy was at the forefront of design of the D27111. With a precision cast aluminium base and table top, the D27111 guarantees high precision cuts in both table and mitre cutting modes.
“A new and improved back fence, which is both high and stable, ensures cutting in mitre mode remains extremely accurate. In addition, users can quickly set the most common mitre angles on this machine, using positive stops on the easy-to-read mitre scale that help provide consistent accuracy over the life of the tool.”
With a powerful 1,500 watt induction motor and capacities such as 220 by 90 mm and a depth of cut of 51mm in table mode, the D27111 has the ability to meet the needs of the most demanding applications, he says.
The innovative guard design maximises safety whilst in use and with a total weight of 26.5 kg ensures the unit is easily transported from vehicle to job site.
The complete unit comes as standard with a Series 40 saw blade, push stick, blade wrench, rip fence, table saw guard blade and Allen key.
Meanwhile, Dewalt has also boosted its sanding range with the launch of its new compact belt sander – the D26480.
“This unit has been developed to further strengthen the Dewalt sanding range, offering end-users an innovative and compact sander that meets the demands of the professional construction and workshop environments.”
The D26480 has been designed with a strong focus on ergonomicc. Its compact size means that users benefit from the light unit weight and usability of a palm-grip sander coupled with the fast stock removal rate of a belt sander. In addition, the ergonomic palm grip design with soft grip maximises user comfort and control in all applications
Srinivasan continues: “To provide the end-user with maximum versatility, the D26480 features a flush-sided, lightweight and single-handed design, allowing use in tight spaces. Supplied as standard is a detachable secondary handle, giving the user additional control for applications where both stability and control are important.
To ensure user safety and comfort, a detachable dust extraction port is supplied, which draws directly from the belt surface for maximum pick-up. This can be directly connected to all standard dust extractor nozzles.
To meet the professional end-users' durability requirements, the D26480 features a dust-sealed switch and bearing set, ensuring protection against dust ingress. An innovative oil-cooled worm-drive gearbox ensures smooth, durable operation in a compact package, he concludes.
