Drake & Scull International (DSI) has won a three-year contract worth KD8.91 million ($30.8 million) to carry out electromechanical works for a special training centre being built on the Shuwaikh campus of the College of Technological Studies.

The project belongs to Kuwait’s Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET).
Drake & Scull, a leading mechanical and electrical engineering contracting company in the region, will procure, supply, install, test and commission a complete electrical, mechanical, drainage and fire-fighting system for the centre.
The main contractor for the project is Kuwait’s Real Estate Construction and Fabrication Company (Recafco).
“The PAAET project furthers our strategic plans to boost our presence in the GCC and extend our expertise to the region’s customers. We look forward to completing the project within the stipulated period and in compliance with stringent international standards,” says Khaldoun Al Tabari, executive director of Drake & Scull International.
