Aljomaih Equipment Company says that the recently-launched Inoma range of forklift trucks from Japanese manufacturer TCM is well suited for a range of demanding tasks in the region.

The Riyadh-based sole distributor for TCM has also recently introduced the FDG series of pneumatic-tyre trucks as well as the FR-VII series of the electric-reach trucks in the Saudi market.
Inoma – an acronym for ‘innovative machine’ – is a family of four-wheel counterbalance internal combustion engine-powered forklift trucks, comprising a line-up of models ranging from 1.5 to 3 tonnes, all of which carry on the TCM tradition of superior performance and quality.
“The new series features enhanced operator comfort through substantially reduced vibration by adopting a dual-floating system for both the engine and hood, expansive floor space for easier foot manoeuvring, a convenient parking lever, a wider step for easier entry and exit, multi-functional suspension seat and a resin screen,” says Abdullah Sulaiman Al Ali, general manager of Aljomaih Equipment.
“The trucks also feature superior manoeuvrability and assured safety with an innovative fork-landing mechanism, reduced fatigue due to a semi-circular steering wheel, multi-cone synchroniser shift levers, anti-roll mechanism during turning, neutral safety mechanism, high-mounted rear combination lights, an anti-slip mat on the hood as well as a meter panel with LCD indicators,” he adds.
Ruggedness and increased durability are other added features of the Inoma forklift series with five per cent improved front and rear stability ratio, sturdier mast, improved durability with lubricant-filled lift cylinder, single-piece head guard, shockproof brake lights, improved radiator cooling efficiency and a 10 deg C improvement in oil operating temperature.
The TCM FDG series comprises pneumatic-tyre trucks between the 3.5 to 5-tonne range and sports improved mobility, comfort, safety and durability. It has been revamped with cutting-edge functions that meet customers’ requirements. Some notable features include an automatic two-speed transmission, top-ranked manoeuvrability, six-cylinder engine with lower vibration, multi-function switch lever and safer driver seat, all of which contribute to quick mobility along with increasing comfort and safety. Various other new components such as an aluminium radiator, torque converter with high quality fins for cooling and improved vehicle durability are also part of the package.
TCM’s FR-VII electric reach-trucks are equipped with new functions that help it to go beyond conventional reach-trucks. “This includes new improved travelling stability with an auto-lock suspension system, front wheel brakes, AC drive control system and improved frame rigidity. It also incorporates improved operability with an AC load handling control system, small diameter steering wheel, reduced operating fatigue and a traction control system, along with improved operator comfort through a wider compartment with waist and hip support, and easy battery maintenance,” points out Al Ali.
