Al Basti and Mukta has been awarded a contract to implement Phase One of Emaar Properties' new Gold and Diamond Park on Shaikh Zayed Road in Dubai, UAE. Construction work is expected to be completed in June.
The 63,000 sq m site will house regional and international gold and jewellery craftsmen, manufacturers and retailers and themed tourist attractions. It will have 750 workshops and offices, including a government office for on-site processing of all formalities. There will be a three-storey manufacturing building a visitors centre with museum displays and retail areas.
