Sipco launches interactive CD

Leading Saudi Arabia-based paint manufacturer Saudi Industrial Paint Company (Sipco) has launched an interactive CD-Rom, which provides an in-depth insight into the company and its products and services.

An innovative feature of the CD-Rom is E-Painter, which will allow architects, developers and homeowners to select the right colour for their projects or homes.
The E-Painter includes Colour Design Studio (CDS), which allows individuals to choose from a range of Sipco’s colours and paint the pre-loaded images, which include both interior and exterior options, with a click of the mouse, says a company spokesman.
In addition to the standard colour combinations, users can define their colour combinations using the ‘Color cards’ option. The colour choices available in the colour card are also quite exhaustive, since the user can choose from either the Monicolor Nova 2004, NCS, NCS Second Edition or the ‘Sipco beautiful colours for elegant homes’ collection.
The CD-Rom – attached with this issue of Gulf Construction magazine – also includes information about the company, tracing its mission, vision, history, operations and sales services and its area of operations, while elaborating on its various divisions including decorative paints, protective coatings, industrial finishes, adhesives and sealants.
The CD-Rom also provides technical support in the field of corrosion control, coating, surface preparation, application tools, coating systems, coating failure and safety checks.
Another innovative feature is a Paint Calculator, which enables the user to work out the type and volume of paint required for the application and the chosen area.
Sipco is one of the largest Saudi-owned manufacturers of high-quality paints, sealants, adhesives and construction chemicals in the kingdom. Since its inception, Sipco has grown with each major challenge, becoming one of the foremost suppliers of technologically advanced surface coatings and treatments.
Sipco operates kingdomwide from its head office and factory in Dammam, with branch offices and distribution warehouses in Riyadh, Jeddah, Abha, Kuwait and Dubai. Sipco has expanded its business further and developed new markets in Yemen, Philippines, Sudan and Egypt.
“Our range of products is one of the largest in the kingdom and many are highly specialised and unique to Sipco,” the spokesman concludes.
