World of Asphalt 2006 – which is due to open next month (March 13 to 16) at the Orange County Convention centre in Orlando, Florida – has set a record, with more than 60,000 sq ft of space reserved for the show.

“Nearly 200 companies will be on hand, from exhibitors new to the show as well as returning exhibitors, and attendees will see a broader range of equipment, products and services on display than ever before,” says a spokesman for the organiser.
“New to World of Asphalt in 2006 is an exhibits pavilion showcasing testing equipment. Additional product categories include asphalt production and recycling equipment, roadbuilding machinery, maintenance equipment, soil stabilisers, safety equipment, chemical and petroleum products, pollution control products, trucks, trailers and specialty-paving products,” he adds.
The expo will also feature a live equipment demonstration event that will illustrate technological advancements in road-building techniques, that will help industry professionals meet today’s ever-increasing project specifications demands.
