Bagno Design boasts new classy bathtubs

Bagno’s range of bathtubs ... seamless integration with interiors.

Bathroom and sanitary ware specialist Bagno Design, which has a chain of showrooms across the Gulf, has launched Hoesch’s new range of tubs Scelta and Spectra to enhance the choice of products available to its discerning customers across the region.

This unique ‘family of bathtubs’ seamlessly combines various shapes – from rectangular to oval – with the rest of the interiors of the project, says the Dubai-based firm, which specialises in sanitary ware, tiles, plumbing accessories, sinks and bath-tubs,
Backed by its huge variety of top-of-the-line product ranges, the Dubai-based firm has changed the way bathroom interiors are viewed and offers many combinations to make a bathroom luxurious, unique, and a place of well-being.
“The great advantage of tub families for the sanitary-fixture trade is that the benefits of an entire family can be illustrated in the showroom using a single model. To optimise on this advantage, Hoesch has developed a completely new and broadly expanded family of bathtubs, which share a number of common features and yet possess distinctive characteristics,” says Daryl Barker, group managing director of sanitary ware and plumbing specialist Sanipex, of which Bagno Design is a subsidiary.
“Hoesch is offering numerous possibilities to meet to the widest variety of spatial conditions and preferences in taste and it is the variations on different basic shapes and dimensions which has made it all possible,” he adds.
Both bathtub families – Scelta and Spectra – focus on the same theme and were designed by the renowned German designer, Adolf Babel, he points out.

Scelta
Scelta – which in Italian means especially chosen – is a brand-new family of tubs, which offers exquisite variety, says Barker. The family currently consists of five models in different variations of tubs including two rectangular, one hexagonal, one oval and one corner tub.
All the models are distinguished by a linear, puristic design – without frills, but with a distinctive character, he explains. On the inside, ergonomic mouldings, spacious bottom lengths and widths, along with comfortable slanted angles for the back, assure the highest reclining comfort. The generously-shaped corner tub, in particular, enables a variety of sitting positions due to the different bottom lengths. The broad tub rim of all Scelta models offers plenty of space – whether for fittings, bath salts, oils or other accessories and is 480 mm deep.
“Scelta provides for a feeling of well-being from head to toe not only when bathing, but when it comes to the price as well,” he comments.

Spectra
The members of the Spectra family feature the natural look: natural lines, an organic look and a harmonious overall image, which turn Spectra into a gently curved affair. Hoesch has now expanded this successful family of tubs by adding on several members.
Previously available as an oval tub in five different sizes, the family now encompasses a total of 13 members including one wall-adjoining, two hexagonal, three corner and two rectangular tubs, which have been supplemented.
All the new members of the family have an especially spacious tub depth of 480 mm.
“Spectra’s flowing contours provide for perfect ergonomics in which every body shape and length discovers recuperative bathing at its most pleasant,” says Barker. “The back and lumbar regions gently hug the moulded supports which blend seamlessly into the side walls, thus enabling an incomparably relaxed position lying in the tub.”
“All of the Scelta and new Spectra models are available together with the new Basic whirltub systems at a very attractive price,” he concludes.
