PS Middle East makes debut
Manama: Bahrain Convention and Exhibition Bureau, Bahrain’s Ministry of Oil, and HQ Link have joined hands to organise PS Middle East 2005 (PSME)  at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre, Bahrain from November 14 to 16.

PSME 2005 is an international exhibition on rotating equipment, fluid, air and gas handling systems, fluid power and control systems and instrumentation in the Middle East and will showcase five inter-related industry profiles namely pumps and systems, valves and piping, compressors and systems, fluid power and control and instrumentation.
Making its debut this year, PS Middle East 2005 is aimed at capturing the growing demand for new equipment and production technology, says the organiser.
The exhibition will be complemented with a specially-tailored conference anchored by established speakers who will address current issues and business opportunities in the pumps industry.

Focus on technology at water expo
Manama: Water Middle East 2005 will highlight the technological, managerial and operational aspects of the water sector in the region and will critically review the current condition of the water sector in these areas, future trends, constraints, opportunities and policies required for their advancement, according to Dr Waleed Khalil Al Zubari a member of  the organising committee.
The event is being organised by the Bahrain Convention and Exhibition Bureau in association with Nuernberg Global Fairs, Germany at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre from November 14 to 16.
“The conference lecture programme is set to discuss issues of institutional capacity building, balancing supply and demand, cost management and water pricing, approaches of efficient water utilisation, management in agriculture and privatisation, and will aim towards creating a forum of open discussion and exchange of experiences among participants on related topics while creating and enhancing networking among individuals, institutions and the business community,” Zubari adds. 

Bauma China defers date
Shanghai: bauma China 2006 will now take place a week later than previously planned. According to the organisers Messe Munchen, the new trade fair dates are November 21 to 24, in compliance with requests from  exhibitors for a longer setup time for their stands.
bauma China 2004 attracted 738 exhibitors from around the world and covered 100,000 sq m of exhibition area. Approximately 50,000 experts from more than 100 countries.
This year’s event will cover 140,000 sq m of exhibition space at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC).
