Turner Construction, one of the leading project management firms with a large presence in the region, is currently involved in projects worth more than $3 billion for private clients in Saudi Arabia.
The projects comprise multi-use facilities, healthcare, residential and other private developments.
Among the largest contracts it is presently involved in is a five-year contract awarded by the Riyadh-headquartered Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development Company earlier this year, to offer program management services in the design and construction of 65,000 residential units.
As per the agreement, Turner will develop an execution programme for all Dar Al Arkan projects and follow up on the construction using its team, which will be present in different locations placed in Dar Al Arkan projects.
Apart from the Dar Al Arkan project, Turner has been involved with several other projects that include: the Royal Terminal of King Khalid International Airport, Al Faisaliah Centre, Inter-continental Hotel in Makkah, Burj Dubai, Emirates Towers, Qatar National Library, Barr Al Jissah Resort in Oman and the Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai, the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
The company has been maintaining a strong presence in the Middle East over the past two decades.
