The Wave picks two key consultants

The Wave, Oman’s top tourism and seafront residential development, has announced the appointment of two Omani companies as consultants for environmental engineering and quantity surveying of the project.

Agreements have been inked with HMR Environmental Engineering Consultants for environmental consultancy and Majan Engineering Consultants for quantity surveying support.
While HMR is an Omani-owned and managed environmental consulting firm based in Muscat, Majan Engineering has nearly four decades of expertise in the field within the Sultanate.
The Wave is a joint venture comprising Oman’s Waterfront Investments, representing the government of Oman, the National Investment Funds Company that represents the Omani Pension Funds and State General Reserve Funds and the UAE’s Majid Al Futtaim Investments.
Wael Al Lawati, acting chief executive officer of Waterfront Investments, said: “The appointment of HMR and Majan Engineering demonstrates our commitment to the Omani market and to offering vital business opportunities to it.
